The 47th annual meeting of the Middle East Studies Association will be held in The Big Easy, New Orleans. The meeting is six full weeks earlier than MESA's usual just-before-Thanksgiving schedule. The meeting will include more than 200 panels on myriad Middle East topics, a four-day film festival, and a book exhibit featuring 80+ book sellers and presses. MESA returns to the Crescent City after a 27 year absence! Mark your calendars!
