A professor who was targeted as one of the “radical” professors at UCLA by the Bruin Alumni Association provides his views on the attack on academic freedom at UCLA. He points out that only liberal teachers were targeted on the BAA website, and that their actions outside the classroom were what brought on the smear campaign against them. He also notes that if Academic Bill of Rights legislation is passed it would "compel professors to teach discredited materials.”
